The Monsters University Takeover is an upcoming party inClub Penguin, which will start on June 27, 2013 and end on July 9, 2013. The party is based on the new Disney Pixar movie,Monsters University.

The Greek Council of Club Penguin Island begins to plan the first ever Scare Games, and plans are made to build a place to learn scaring and compete in the games. Three fraternities (Jaws Theta Chi, Oozma Kappa, and Roar Omega Roar) and  Monsters University Takeover is an upcoming party in Club Penguin, which will start on June 27, 2013 and end on July 9, 2013. The party is based on the new Disney Pixar movie,Monsters University.

summer music jam

The Summer Music Jam is an upcoming party on Club Penguin. It is unknown when it will start but it will start sometime in August 2013. It is a combination of a Summer Party and a Music Jam.  Spike Hike confirmed this party in a tweet on May 29, 2013. Spike Hike wrote:

	Lots of talk about Music Jam. I love it too! But lots of penguins asked for a summer party to and we have one coming...with music!!

Spike Hike made another announcement for the party in June 20, 2013. He tweeted:

	And for those of you who are fans of Music Jam or want a Summer Party. Just wait.
	— Spike Hike It may be sponsoring the new Disney Channel Original Movie, Teen Beach Movie, because Hallie, the person who hosts Disney's Game On, was found in a photo on Twitter with Ross Lynch and Chrissie Fit who are in the film, in front of a Club Penguin background of waves and a palm tree.

• We will be able to visit new worlds, according to Spike Hike.
• It is possible another Star Wars Takeover will be held in 2015.
• It is unknown why a Star Wars Takeover is occuring, because there are no known Star Wars related happenings in July, but Disney most likely wants to advertise it to raise awareness for the seventh film, due to Episode VII (7) being released in 2015.
• There is Star Wars Celebration II Europe convention happening in July.   However, it is unknown if this party will be used as advertising. If this is the case, it will most likely be for European countries, especially Germany (where the event takes place) and the UK (as the Disney site for that country already has a prize contest for the Celebration).

Last week we asked, what is your favorite summer activity and why?

Aly71's answer is awesome! My favorite summer activity has to be surfing with my family, why you ask? Surfing brings my family together so we can have laughs and fun instead of fighting for the front seat in the car LOL!! So we have laughs by when i fall my brother laughs his heart away and fun by just seeing that huge wave coming for you and then you start paddling and jump up and then you feel the breeze in your hair and the thrill of balance so thats my activity!!!.

As for this week, above are some of the personalities that can be seen in the new Monster's University movie recently released.  Which personality from the Monsters University characters do you relate to and why?

Sneak Peek Video: Puffle Digging!

Hello Penguins!

The team and I wanted to give you a little sneak peek of a brand new update coming to Club Penguin this week! Last week I gave you a sneak peek of some new Stamps coming to the island.

Here's a hint on how you'll earn them!

Now puffles will be able to dig up coins around the island! The team is also working on a huge update for next month where members with puffles will be able to dig up some RARE ITEMS! I don't want to say too much just yet, but I will say that there's a classic pair of glasses up for grabs that only your puffles will be able to find...

Scare Games Sneaking Up Fast!

I hope you're all as excited as I am for the upcoming scare games! Here's an update from the Club Penguin Times on what you can do to prepare your scare strategies.

To earn scare points, you'll play a sneaky scaring mini game. And you'll want to use your loudest, scariest scare! Just be careful not to get scared in the process.

There will be items for everyone. And members will get to use their scare points to purchase even more monster wear! 

As rival teams scare each other for the win, new costumes will be unlocked!

fun at school tour

today i went on my school tour it was fun at the pool i made one in my igloo but i logged off but here are tips
Get lots and loads of coins

Decorate your igloo with water flooring, snack bars, food, carpets or anything of your choice for slides, pool supplies, etc anything appropriate for a water park.

Put on your swimsuit

Go to the Town to advertise your creation!

Say, "BEST WATER PARK EVER AT MY IGGY ON THE MAP!" Penguins will come. If not, try again.

Add fun stuff for babies, water items like a beach ball floatie, etc, tiny water slides, anything

Go to the Pet Shop and advertise.

Babies will come.

DO NOT make big water slides. This will scare them and they will probably drown or cry!

and if you dont want pookies to come dont go to the pet shop

extra tips

• If you want, you can a souvenir shop before they leave the water park.
• Make it like a real water park! Some people will think it's boring and they will leave. Make it real fun!
• Make sure you are on a crowded server
• Advertise in the town, the stadium, and if it is a pookie waterpark, the pet shop.

warnings

• Some penguins or babies can't swim well and they can drown. Save them!
• Some people are not bright and love to break the rules of the park. If someone pushes a person off the slides and they can't swim, save them! If you built a water park for babies, some big penguins will come and push the babies off the slides. SAVE THEM! Call the police and they will arrest the mean penguin.

Monsters University: Four Rival Teams to Compete in Scare Games!

Hey Penguins!

Last week we showed you the official trailer for the Disney/Pixar Monsters University Takeover! At Club Penguin's first ever Scare Games, you'll get to join a scare team - just like the ones in the Monsters University movie. Pick the one that suits your scare style and compete to win a scary awesome prize!

Here's the low-down on the four rival teams:

Roar Omega Roar: Are your scare abilities top notch? Are you the best of the best? Then ROR is where you want to be.

Jaws Theta Chi: JOX are natural born frighters, who love the scare of the game!

Python Nu Kappa: Do you hide your inner monster behind a scarismatic smile? PNK's got the flair to scare!

Oozma Kappa: Don't underestimate these determined underdogs - they've got plenty of heart to take it to the top!

I'm opting for OK 'cos I've got that go-getter attitude! Which frightening fraternity or scary sorority will you choose, and why? In the upcoming weeks, we'll announce which teams the other bloggers will be joining to fright alongside you! So stay tuned.
